FIRST FULL WEEK OF SCHOOL!!! So exciting! In Math class we are learning about Place Value. During reading time we are doing a unit on ABC's books at a 3^rd grade level. During Independent Reading time we are looking for a "GOOD FIT" book. A "Good Fit" book is where the child can read the book at their level to become a better reader. The book can't be too easy OR too hard. We are learning the techniques on finding the PERFECT book to make better readers. During literature we are reading PIPPI LONGSTOCKING. This is about a fun little girl always looking for adventure.
